Qinghai Province will build the world's largest 100MW energy storage demonstration base
On September 24, the reporter learned from the special press conference of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology of "Hundred Years of Struggle, Set Sail". Innovative platform, building a technological highland for the comprehensive development and utilization of new energy, and vigorously supporting the creation of the world's largest 100-megawatt energy storage demonstration base on the basis of the established provincial key energy storage laboratories.
In terms of new energy, Qinghai Province has built the world’s largest hydro-photovoltaic complementary grid-connected power station with an installed capacity of 850 MW; the world’s largest "100 MW solar photovoltaic power generation demonstration base" has been built so far. The manufacturers’ photovoltaic modules and related components can be tested and tested in the field; my country’s first large-scale commercial tower-type CSP station has been built, and on this basis, my country’s largest-scale trough-type and tower-type CSP plants have been built. Base; the world's first "Qinghai-Henan +800 kV UHV DC transmission channel" which focuses on transporting clean energy has been built.
In terms of the lithium battery industry, Qinghai Province organized the conquering of battery-grade lithium carbonate preparation technologies such as salt lake lithium calcination, adsorption, membrane separation, and extraction methods, providing a powerful resource guarantee for the rapid development of my country's lithium battery industry. At the same time, focusing on the layout of the clean energy industry, Qinghai Province has built 11 provincial-level engineering technology research centers such as Qinghai Photovoltaic Industry Research Center, 5 provincial-level key laboratories, and cultivated and introduced 35 high-tech and technology-based enterprises.
In the next step, Qinghai Province will speed up tackling key technical issues and improve the core competitiveness of the industry. Actively support the complementary and integrated and optimized clean energy utilization of water, light, wind, and thermal storage; carry out long-term or even more than half a year research on key technologies of the province’s entire network of green power; carry out technical research to improve the quality and energy density of lithium battery materials; develop hydrogen energy Demonstration of the application of clean energy such as, dry hot rock, etc.; strengthen the innovation research of integrated smart energy integration of wind and solar energy storage. Vigorously cultivate the main body of clean energy scientific and technological innovation, and establish and perfect a technological innovation system with enterprises as the main body, a combination of industry, academia, research and application, and a market-led technology innovation system.
