Australia's New Province Promotes Subsidies To Help Businesses Recover

It is expected that 80% of the population over the age of 16 will be vaccinated next Monday. The capital city of Canberra is expected to be unblocked on Friday, outdoor gatherings will be relaxed to 25 people, barber shops, personal care services, public swimming pools, etc. will also be reopened, but they cannot travel to the new province without necessary reasons. The Chief Minister of the Capital Territory, Andrew Barr, predicts that nearly 99% of the local population will be vaccinated by the end of next month.

In Victoria, 1,466 more people were infected locally on Tuesday, the lowest level in 6 days, and another 8 people died. Only 7% of the 675 new crown patients who were hospitalized were vaccinated. The vaccination rate for people over the age of 16 in Victoria is expected to reach 70% later this month. By then, including Melbourne, some epidemic prevention measures will be relaxed. At present, 82.8% of Australians have received the first dose of the vaccine, and 63.4% have completed the vaccination.

In addition, New Zealand added 43 locally confirmed cases on Tuesday, most of which were in Auckland, up from 35 the previous day. Prime Minister Ardern urged people over the age of 12 to be vaccinated; currently 58% of the population has completed the vaccination.
