The company subsequently received several notifications that the automatic emergency braking system would be accidentally activated after the software was updated. The problem was corrected on the 25th of last month and the 10.3.1 software update was released to the affected electric vehicles, which was also cancelled the day before. The problematic software was updated, and the emergency braking system of the vehicle that was still using the problematic software was shut down. NHTSA said it will continue to talk to Tesla to ensure that any security flaws can be notified and resolved immediately.
